For Elibeth, customer service isn’t just a job—it’s a calling. “I believe excellent customer service is the backbone of any successful business,” Elibeth says.
“To keep clients, it’s essential to pay attention to their needs and ensure they feel heard and cared for. It’s fulfilling to know that I can make someone’s day better by simply being attentive, empathetic, and resourceful.”

Despite being naturally introverted, Elibeth found a surprising love for customer interaction when it’s driven by a purpose.
“I’m naturally a hermit and prefer staying home as much as possible. However, I can be extroverted when interacting with a purpose. When the purpose is to help someone with their concerns, I truly enjoy the interaction.”
One of the most rewarding aspects of the job for Elibeth is building relationships with customers. “I didn’t realize you could have favorite customers. After just a few interactions, seeing their names pop up on my screen always makes me smile.”
An Unforgettable Success Story
One interaction stands out in Elibeth’s memory: “A customer was having problems with their protein skimmer. I took the time to listen to their concerns, escalated the report to the technical team, and worked with them until the issue was resolved.”
“The team didn’t even have to drive out on-site; we were able to help the customer virtually. The customer was very pleased, and that alone was rewarding.”

Elibeth makes it a priority to ensure every customer feels valued and heard. “I ensure every customer feels valued and heard by actively listening. I make it a point to be patient, no matter the situation. Being a customer myself, I understand their circumstances and approach each interaction with empathy.”
When it comes to customer service techniques, Elibeth favors proactive communication. “My favorite customer service strategy is proactive communication. Be prompt and treat all concerns as important.”

“I love the shared passion and curiosity that aquarium lovers bring. I appreciate working with people who care deeply and make an effort to provide the best care for their aquatic companions.”

When Elibeth isn’t assisting customers, you can find her enjoying some well-deserved downtime.
“I enjoy watching K-Dramas and cooking. These are the little things that make life enjoyable, and I always look forward to them after my shift.”
